Italian Menu · Oyster Bay

The current menu.

Our kitchen follows the season and the market. Pasta is made in-house each morning; sauces simmer from the afternoon. If you have a question about a dish, please ask — we love when you do.

A signature cocktail at the bar
The Bar

Two hundred bottles, mostly Italian.

The list leans hard toward Italy — Barolo and Brunello, Etna reds, Alto Adige whites, and growers you will not find on every list on the North Shore. Alongside it: signature cocktails, a proper amaro selection, and digestivi for the end of the night.

The full wine book lives in the restaurant. Tell us what you usually drink and we will find you something better.

Menu questions

Before you order.

Does Stellina Ristorante have gluten-free options?

Yes. Most of our dry pasta can be made with gluten-free pasta (+$5, excluding lasagna and gnocchi), and any pizza can be made gluten-free (+$6). We also have naturally gluten-free plates like the fennel-and-orange salad, the roasted secondi, and the grilled lamb chops. Please tell us about any allergies when you reserve, and remind your server when you sit.

Are there vegetarian and vegan dishes on the menu?

Plenty. Vegetarian plates run through every section of the dinner menu — buffalo ricotta with truffle honey, fried artichokes, cacio e tre pepe, gnocchi alla Sorrentina, and Neapolitan pizzas like the Margherita and Al Tartufo. Vegan and plant-forward choices include the Pinzimonio, roasted broccoli rabe, and the Marinara pizza.

What are Stellina's signature dishes?

Guest favorites include the wood-fired Polpette al Sugo meatballs, the tuna tartare with black truffle and caviar, Agnolotti di Vitello e Tartufo, Spaghetti allo Scoglio, and the bone-in dry-aged Wagyu ribeye. Pasta is rolled fresh in-house each morning.

Do you serve brunch, and when?

Yes. Brunch is served every Sunday from 11:00 a.m., with dishes like the Stellina Breakfast Pizza, truffle scrambled eggs, and eggs benedict with lobster and caviar, alongside mimosas and our San Marzano Bloody Mary. The kitchen transitions to the full menu at 2:30 p.m.

Do I need a reservation?

Reservations are strongly recommended, especially Friday and Saturday — the room seats 40. You can book online through OpenTable or call (516) 757-4989. We hold a small number of bar seats for walk-ins most evenings.

Can a dish be made a specific way for a dietary need?

Often, yes — much of the kitchen is made to order. Let us know about allergies or dietary restrictions when you book and remind your server on arrival, and the kitchen will do its best to accommodate you.

Is there a full bar and wine list?

Yes. We pour an Italian-forward wine list of more than 200 selections, plus signature cocktails, amari, and digestivi. The full wine book lives in the restaurant — ask and we will walk you through it.
